Kelp-
This is a sea vegetable that has a large source of minerals such as iron, potassium, calcium, iodine, and magnesium. Kelp helps maintain normal metabolism in all cells of the body. This is because of its supply of iodine which assists in making thyroid hormones. Thyroid hormones maintain normal metabolism in the body. Also energy levels increase making it easier to maintain healthy body weight.


Sheep Sorrel-
This has a great source of Vitamin C, oxalic acid, beta carotene, sodium, phosphorus, potassium, manganese, and iron. Used as a mild laxative, mild diuretic, and mild antiseptic.


Blessed Thistle-
Used to help people suffering with stomach irritability, constipation, and helps digestive problems. Liver and gallbladder diseases are also treated with this.


Burdock Root-
Used as a mild diuretic. Burdock Root is an antioxidant which helps the body cells from damage caused from oxidation. Oxidation is a normal reaction that occurs during metabolism. Oxidation creates the release of oxygen free radicals which may suppress the immune function. Used for treating swelling and fever because it increases the production of urine and sweating. May help with liver damage caused by alcohol, chemicals, or medications.


Slippery Elm Bark-
Widely used to soothe sore throats and is used in many cough remedies, and throat lozenges. Can relieve constipation and diarrhea by regulating the digestive tract. Also used as a poultice for cuts and bruises, and for aching joints due to gout or other causes.


Turkish Rhubarb Root-
Is a wonderful detoxifier and famous for it’s healing properties. Helps purge the body of bile, parasites, and stagnated food by stimulating the gall duct that rids the body of toxic waste. Cleanses and alleviates chronic liver problems. Increases appetite and improves digestion. Alleviates disorders of the spleen, help heal ulcers, disorders of the colon, relieve constipation, bleeding of upper digestive tract, and help to heal hemorrhoids.


Watercress-
Is a great resource Vitamin C. Has a bitter taste believed to stimulate appetite and improve digestion. Helps to remedy liver disorders, nervous conditions, and constipation. Is popular as a cough and bronchitis remedy. Inhibits growth of pathogenic bacteria in the intestines, caused by a substance it contains called Rhein. Also Rhein is believed to be effective against fever, inflammation, pain, and Candida albicans.


Red Clover-
This herb is a wonderful source of valuable nutrients. Red Clover contains vitamin C, calcium, magnesium, thiamine, phosphorus, chromium, and niacin. Also a great source of isoflavones, which are water soluble chemicals that act like estrogens. Isoflavones in Red Clover have been studied for their effectiveness in treating cancer. Also has been believed to prevent cancer cells and even to destroy them.
