Dosage - Essiac Tea

Dosage amount is determined by different factors. Size and weight may determine your dosage amount. Also your particular health ailment will affect dosage amount.

For best results: Essiac tea should be taken on an empty stomach. No food for 2 hours before taking essiac tea. After taking essiac tea you should not consume any food for at least 1 hour.

Dosage amount should be taken 3 times a day for best results. If not possible to take 3 times a day then dosage amount should be evenly divided in at least 2 dosages. If you were taking 12oz a day 3 times a day but can only take it twice instead then split the 12oz into 2-6oz dosages. Do not decrease your amount just because you can not take it 3 times a day.

An aggressive dosage of essiac tea is recommended for those suffering from a major health concern. For an aggressive dosage we recommend : 4oz. of essiac taken 3 times a day = 12oz. total for the day

Maintenance dosage: No major health concern and just want to take essiac to improve your immune system and digestive system? If so we recommend: 2oz. of essiac taken 3 times a day = 6oz. total for the day

It is highly recommended that if taking essiac tea for a major health concern you should take the tea faithfully for at least a period of 6 months to get best results.
